petra: Barbara Gordon smiling knowingly (Why am I a double-D?)
Hey, Comics Fanfiction Writers!

While you are working on a story, does it ever switch mental pencillers on you?

I'm attempting this piece and yesterday I had managed to tame it into Robinson art (Gotham Knights) in my head. Today I opened it, summarized it for Zee, and then had my Robinson art -- which wasn't perfect, but tolerable -- skew into Darwyn Cooke (Catwoman, New Frontier).

Granted, this is because Selina came into the story more prominently, but still, ow.

For that matter, whose art do you associate with particular stories? Does it shift on you? I know I've asked individual people this before, but I don't recall posing the general question.

Thank you for sharing: I need to write actual plot for this and it makes me scared, and yet hopeful that I may come up with something that's not just smut.
