Once a fangirl of Narnia
Mar. 18th, 2013 03:07 pmIf I were to get into reading Narnia fanfiction, where would you send me to look other than
cofax,
bedlamsbard, and
burntcopper? I like stories where the Pevensies are weird about each other, because they are in one of the least healthy situations in the universe. I'm also fond of stories where having been important and saving the world, then suddenly being normal kids in England is not actually good for anyone's mental health. I'm not sure what the differences between book-verse and movie-verse are, so I don't care which a story is set in; crossovers are fine (and if anyone has in fact written the crossover in my icon I want to know about it, thank you, even if it's just a drabble); self-recs are welcome.
Segueing from the thought that repressed memories will mess you up, if there's any good, recent (last three years) Dark is Rising stuff out there other than Yuletide stories, I'd love to know about it.
N. B. This post and my nostalgic resurgence of formative literature has nothing whatsoever to do with Oz. I didn't even acquire the relevant nail polish. Instead I'm wearing something called Wallis with malice aforethought.
