dira said that everyone was a grown-up in it. I take that as a point of personal pride. Also, if I can write Gene Hunt being a grownup about relationships, I can darn well write the polyamory I am working on now.
(And at least two people will read it! Someone told me--with solid data behind her--that the m/m portion of the m/m/f triad I'm writing is not to everyone's tastes. I suspect this means that the poly story is going to be scrolled past with malice aforethought, but at least I'm enjoying writing it.)
I have been known to say, "Clap if you believe in blowjobs!" I believe that was frombrownbetty while I was in the middle of writing some rather frustrating Bruce/Dick.
Today I believe in communication, and I'm clapping for all I'm worth.
What feedback have you received from other fans that recurs in your memory to cheer you up when you are feeling blue, or when other people's feedback makes you sad?
