There's a kids' book titled "How to Speak Wookiee" but no formal dictionary or grammar of Shyriiwook.

In my mind, anyway, stories with assigned soulmates are for pointing out issues with traditional romantic structures, or for feeding the "There is a butt for every seat" place in one's heart.

I think my favorite pairing for "first words written on the skin" is Sam Vimes/Sybil Ramkin--that would be "Ah, good man. Do you know anything about mating?" in the finest copperplate.

But I gotta say I'm not shipper trash for The Magicians )
