At least we can agree on Bothari,
but now I want to know the Word of God
on this, though if I'm wrong I may not change.

If Moria is in the flicks, that's fine,
though how I cleave to the Moria false.
That's how my mother said it, so it's "right,"
as she in tones of love read me the books
when I was young or feeling less than spry.)

Awww, that is sweet and geeky. And yes, it's very hard to switch pronunciation in your head once it's settled and you're used to it.

Yup, I've always said Ee-van because pronouncing it the Russian way makes sense in my head. But the official pronunciation guide appears to disagree!
