What would you do if you'd written a story and you found someone else on the internet who had written, well before yours and not in any way the inspiration for yours, a short piece that had basically the same emotional beats as your story, but with the important difference that every relationship that is an & in their story is a / in yours, and that theirs is entirely No Archive Warnings Apply while yours is decidedly not? Imagine if you will that your story has both het and slash content of the explicit variety, while they appear to be thoroughly a gen-to-teen writer.
