Yet stranger desserts
Jun. 14th, 2016 07:53 pmGrace and Frankie made a very strange dessert for The West Wing.
Currently season/series 3 of Peaky Blinders is doing the same for me with regards to Deep Space Nine. You'll laugh, you'll cringe, you'll believe this wonderful man is fully capable of playing a heterosexual, which all of DS9 did not quite manage to convince me of.
Don't start with season 3 of Peaky Blinders, if you decide to try it. Its seasons are nasty, brutal, and short--and exquisitely constructed--and each is vital to the next to make full sense of what follows. I just happen to be in a position to start with season 3 at an actorly opportune time. Also, try not to grind your teeth if you watch it on Netflix and know damned well it's not a Netflix Original anything. It's not worth the pain.
For extra bonus weird points, I happened to watch Hellboy today, and from the first clang I knew I was doubling down on "Red Right Hand". Like "Hallelujah," it's a song that the media in question has to earn. Hellboy spent it too early, and not properly, in my opinion.
