Why the fuck isn't it usps.gov?
Why doesn't usps.gov exist with a redirect?
The US Postal Service is not a commercial entity, and every time government officials pretend it is, they screw it over more.
The US would be better off if governmentally funded entities were clearer about the sources of their support so that people knew that their tax dollars really were going to make their day-to-day lives better. Instead, the Post Office and the transit companies and the like pretend that they're actually private businesses, right down to their URLs, and it means people don't see what the value of Big Government is.
